Wars are happening between countries in the World regularly due to conflicts. Most of the conflicts can be amicably solved by peace talks but some countries prefer war to solve conflicts. Due to wars, many people lose their life. Every life is precious in the sight of the Lord and for the person’s family. War causes difficulty for people. It has many negative effects on society. In addition to human casualties, it also causes physical disability, mental health issues, economic uncertainty for the country, unemployment, an increase in the homeless situation, safety issues for women and children, extreme poverty, famine, destruction of the country’s infrastructure, environmental issues, etc.

Let us pray for the war between countries to stop in the world and for peace to prevail.

“Heavenly Father, we come into your presence with a heavy heart. We know with our ability we can not stop the war. It is only by your divine intervention it is possible. Lord, we bring before you the innocent people of the country Lord, all those who are suffering including the women and children, elderly people, and people who are already suffering in hospitals. Lord, we also pray for the people in the war zone who are living in fear without basic amenities, living in anxiety, anguish, uncertainty & helplessness. Lord, we pray to bring favor in the eyes of those leaders of the countries. Let the Leaders have empathy for the people who are suffering due to war. Let the egos and proud attitudes of the Leaders change. Let the neighboring countries engage in peace and intervene to bring peace. Lord, we pray to you to change the situation and stop the war. In Jesus name we pray Amen”

Some of the countries in the world are currently undergoing a deep economic crisis. This may be caused by bad debt, inefficient policies, war, pandemic, natural disasters, corruption, uncertain economic conditions, economic imbalances, etc. 

The economic crisis causes severe food scarcity, a steep rise in the prices of essential commodities, an impact on business, unemployment, health issues, etc. People in those countries are helpless and are the victims of the inefficient systems and policies of the Government. They struggle daily for meeting their basic needs.

Think of those countries which are suffering from the economic crisis. Pray for these countries and the people so that God can change the situation soon.

Let us Pray.

“Lord God Almighty, We ask you to have mercy on those countries which are going through economic instability and crisis. Lord, innocent people are suffering due to this economic situation in their country. They are finding it hard to get even a single meal. They are going through both physical and mental difficulties. They lost their hope. The Government is not able to help them. Even their fellow countrymen are not knowing how to help those who are struggling. Lord, we read from Bible about Hagar when she was in a desert and did not have water to feed her son you sent your Angel to feed her son with water and met other basic needs. Similarly, now we ask you to have favor on those people who are struggling to get food in these countries. Please send your Angles to help them. Lord, please speak to other country leaders to help these countries to come out of the current situation early. Lord, please speak with the rich people in those countries to come forward to help the poor people around. Lord, restore these countries’ economies back to normal soon, and in Jesus’ name, we pray Amen.”

We need to pray for our country leaders and those who are in authority regularly so that they lead the people with wisdom. We need to pray for them so that they don’t make any wrong decisions. In their position, every decision made by them will involve a high impact and mostly irrevocable effect on the country or towards the people who are under them.  The leaders have to focus on the welfare of the people under them and not on their own gains. They should be a people-centered leader. The country leaders should be friendly with other country leaders and work towards peace and economic development. Having this kind of leader helps the people under them to live in peace.

1 Timothy 2:1–2 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.

Let us Pray.

“Lord God Almighty, We pray for our country leaders and the leaders who are in authority. Lord, give them the wisdom to take every decision wisely. Lord, let them not be guided by people who are selfish and do things for their own gain. Let these leaders have the right thinking and have concern for the people who are under them.  Lord, give them the vision and right thinking and have an attitude of being friendly with other leaders and being collaborative. Lord, let these Leaders care and work towards the betterment of the people under them. Lord, please guide them to lead efficiently, and in Jesus’ name we pray Amen.”

People are killed by Natural disasters daily in some or the other part of the world. Droughts and floods were the most fatal disaster event. Storms, wildfires, Landslides, Volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, extreme temperatures are some of the events which cause death to people and destruction to the property.

Psalm 57:1 Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me, for in you my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings until the disaster has passed.

Let us Pray.

“Lord God Almighty, You created the whole universe and you have control over them. Lord, let this natural disaster not overcome or affect us and we don’t need to have fear. From Bible, we read an incident that happened while you and your disciples were traveling in a boat to a nearby city.  A huge storm came and shook the boat and when you commanded the storm it obeyed your word and calmed down. Lord, please do a miracle in the current situation. Lord, increase our faith and we request you to command the natural disaster so that it won’t affect us, and in Jesus’ name we pray Amen.”
